Dear MaTeDas 2026 conference participants, the organizing committee and its partners have prepared a complete program of conference and accompanying activities for you.

On Wednesday, May 13, 2026, we will welcome conference participants at the Faculty of Military Technology of the University of Defence, located at Šumavská 4, Brno. Access and parking will be provided for participants on the premises.

Registration and the official opening of the conference will take place in the morning in the lecture hall of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, followed by company presentations and expert lectures. Participants will be given a tour of the new facilities at the Department of Mechanical Engineering.

In the afternoon, the programme will move to the Areal Černá Pole, where the grand opening of the surface and additive technology laboratories will take place, followed by a guided tour of the facilities and catering.

After the programme in the laboratories, participants will return to Areal Šumavská and then travel to Lednice by their own means of transport, where accommodation will be provided in local hotels. The evening will continue with a gala dinner at the Castle Hotel, followed by a wine tasting for all interested parties.

On Thursday, May 14, the main part of the conference will take place in Lednice. In the morning, participants will learn about the latest findings through expert lectures with the opportunity for discussion. After lunch, other expert sections and a group photo session will follow. In the afternoon, participants will visit the castle and the castle greenhouse, followed by a poster section with the announcement of the results. The day will end with a gala dinner and an evening programme in the wine cellar with cimbalom music.

On Friday, May 15, the conference will conclude with a group boat trip to John’s Castle, which will offer participants a magnificent view of the surrounding countryside. The programme will end with a farewell catering event, which will bring the entire stay to a pleasant close.
